The length of the garage starts at 540 cm and increases in 60 cm modules to any length. Garages with a width of 620 cm and a length of 780 cm are our best-selling double garage.

How much does a double garage cost?

All the prices you see in the pictures on our website are calculated as a guide price for building kits in elements. To get a more specific offer, tailored to your wishes and needs, you can send us a request for this here . Having the garage delivered as elements is a good option for those of you who want to do some of the work yourself. Another option here is to order the garage fully assembled. The degree of completion you want for your garage also affects the price. Pre-cut is the most affordable delivery, but it is also the one that requires the most effort from you as a customer. The most affordable double garage we have is a Spring model in size 560 cm x 540 cm , delivered pre-cut. This gives you space for 2 cars, but there is little storage space beyond what you can place on the roof trusses. If you want a larger garage with more storage space, your own customizations and perhaps a unique design that suits your house – this will also affect the price of the garage.

At the other end you have large garages, with a loft, perhaps a carport or a shed, and with lots of additional equipment. The options you choose as a customer affect the final price of the garage.

Another thing that is important to keep in mind is the price differences that exist for foundation work. The foundation work for the garage can vary from contractor to contractor, but here too your own efforts will also affect the price. It is also important to keep in mind that extensive foundation work, such as blasting, costs more than starting with foundation work on a plot that is already leveled and ready to build on.

Which size should you choose?

We recommend ordering a double garage with a minimum width and length of 620 cm, if you have the space on the plot . This gives you somewhat better space around the cars than the smallest of 560 cm, and also makes it easier to drive in and out. Most customers want to build as large a garage as possible, and our best-selling size is 620 cm x 780 cm. Before you build a garage, it may be a good idea to read our tips before building a garage .

Many people are wondering how big a garage you can build without having to submit a building application. One of the requirements is that the garage must be 50 square meters or less. Double garage with shed for extra storage space

If you want storage space, a storage room at the back of the garage would be a good solution. In that case, we recommend that you extend the garage beyond our standard size of 560 cm. A length of 780 cm will provide a spacious garage with the possibility of a storage room.

We also recommend a separate door to the shed, or the storage space at the back of the garage. This will save you from having to carry bicycles, garden tools and the like past the cars parked in the garage. You can read about adaptation options here.

Double garage with loft

If you want even more storage space, we recommend a model with a loft. The Hushovd and Imenes models can be delivered with chipboard flooring for the loft and different types of loft stairs for easy access.

You can also choose different variations of loft and dormer windows to further increase the attic space, or higher knee walls. All of our double garages with lofts can be customized to your wishes .

Double garage delivery options

You can choose to have the double garage delivered as:

Fully assembled

If you choose a material package, it means that you are a skilled carpenter and want to do everything yourself. You will be delivered the material you need, but you have to cut it yourself. Therefore, it is perfect for those who are handy and like to carpentry. If you choose pre-cut, you should have some carpentry experience as you will have to do almost everything yourself . The garage is delivered as pre-cut, the frame and construction are already cut to size, the roof trusses are already assembled and the cladding comes in lengths. You should like carpentry. If you want your double garage as an element because you want to do a little yourself , you should be normally “handy” and get help from one or two others for carrying. Here you are the one who assembles the garage yourself. Pre-assembled double garages are often chosen, as this is very time-efficient and you avoid the plot becoming a building site for a long time. Our fitters come and assemble the garage for you. You are only responsible for ensuring that everything related to the building application is in the order, and that the base and casting are finished before the garage is put into production. It is entirely up to you how much of the assembly job you want to do yourself. For double garages with attics, you should calculate the cost of renting a crane to lift the roof trusses when they are to be put in place.

Double garage with carport

If the garage will take up part of your view, or there is little space around it, a double garage with a carport may be a good alternative. This will give you an enclosed space with a gate, and an open space, which gives a more airy look.
